Purpose

Complexity Theories in Education is a special interest group of the American Educational Research Association. Our international membership represents diverse specialties within the educational field, including science education, math education, curriculum studies, educational administration, educational leadership, and many others. We share a common interest in applying, advancing, and extending chaos and complexity theories to inquiry, research, theory, and practice in a variety of educational contexts.
